Stowe Valley Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an Attendance & Safeguarding Officer to work with the Director of Safeguarding, school staff, parents, students and outside agencies to ensure the positive attendance of pupils across the Trust. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of national policy and guidance around attendance and behaviour as well as statutory safeguarding policies and protocols.

You will provide regular, high-quality challenge and support for school leaders in relation to attendance, while leading, supporting and developing high quality assurance procedures for attendance at school level. In addition, you will be required to provide centralised training to school leaders and all relevant staff in relation to attendance. This will be at least annually, but regular updates in line with national an local policy will occur.

This is an exciting opportunity for an individual to work strategically in developing a holistic understanding of the needs of all schools within the Trust and provide bespoke and effective support to targeted schools to enable continuous improvement.

We strive to provide high quality education for all students and we are looking to recruit someone to support our students across the Trust in fulfilling their academic potential and enabling them to become ‘the best they can be’. An understanding of how every member of staff contributes to this is essential.
