Nursery Manager

Required from 2nd September 2024

30 hour contract

Scale H 17-22 Starting Salary (Actual) £20,064.38



In the morning, the role will be Nursery Manager- the Nursery is open to children from 8.45am-11.45am, Monday to Friday.

There will be 2.5 hours per week Planning, Preparation and Assessment time for the Nursery Manager.

In the afternoon, the role will be covering teacher's PPA time across the school with a 3.15 finish time.



Rokeby Primary school is a one form entry Primary School based in Rugby, Warwickshire. We are part of Stowe Valley Multi Academy Trust. We are looking for an exceptional Nursery Manager, to continue the excellent classroom practice already established by our current team.

We would like a Nursery Manager with excellent recent classroom practice or training. We are looking for a Nursery Manager, who has good knowledge of the EYFS framework and is keen to lead and work as part of our already successful nursery team. The ideal candidate will have good understanding or experience in supporting positive implementation of pupil behaviour and learning. The ability to form good relationships in the school team is vital and with children and families. The successful candidate with align with Rokeby’s nurturing ethos and have an excellent understanding of SEN or an interest in improving their knowledge in this area. 


In the afternoons, the role will be covering teacher's PPA time, teaching across the school. The planning and resources for the lesson will provided by the class teacher. We are looking for a practitioner who is confident and able to lead a class across these key stages.
